I am Fadzli, a UIUX Designer Expert cum Tech Stack advisor from Malaysia with extensive experience in bringing my client digital product into the next level. 
 

My experiences range from User Experience planning phase until Complete Development phase of digital products. I am working on projects with my team that heavily focused on a collaborative product-oriented design approach that allows us to quickly ideate, prototype, test and validate the work we do with the aim to create a product that really works with better user experience .

 

As a UIUX Designer, I am also providing a consultation service on digital product planning to ensure all the UIUX design developed by the developer is efficient and using the right stack to lower down your development cost.

 

A good relationship with my clients is my top priority, so I am primarily looking for long term projects.

Strong Digital Online Presence is The Game Changer

We are living in a world behind the glass, no more concrete walls, just a glass that has some animations and graphics. 

 

Everything started a decade ago when the burgeoning internet started to change our life landscape and human interactions.

 

Most big businesses are slowly strengthening their digital online presence until COVID-19 suddenly strikes in and abruptly changes the business landscape. We were forced to stop all human’s physical interactions to cut the virus chains. 

 

A lot of businesses, big and small, were affected. There was no exception, it includes my own business, to be very honest.

 

From what we have been experiencing for the past 2 years, I bet most of you have already realized how important is digital online presence for your business.

 

I personally think online business has become one of everyone’s dream careers nowadays. People may want to start their own business because it sounds fine and dandy to have “your own” business, and for some, it might be because they were forced to. 

 

Unlike what’s shown on social media, most people don’t know that managing an online business will take a lot more effort than you thought, and there is almost no guarantee that you will hit the jackpot, especially with the current pandemic.

 

This is the part where digital online presence plays one of the biggest roles in e-commerce.

 

As an UI/UX designer, I have been receiving a lot of new leads recently. These businesses I was handling realized that during the tremendous uncertainty, it is pivotal to stay connected with their consumers. As said by Seth Godin, “People do not buy goods and services. They buy relationships, stories and magic”. People buy what they find relevant to them, not what you think is relevant to them. 

 

According to a salesforce survey, 85% of the users will do an online research on the goods or services they are interested in before they decide to make a purchase, and 74% of the sources they use to do this research is from websites, while the other 38% are from social media.

 

This is of no surprise that e-commerce's shares have shown a growth from 14% in 2019 to 17% in 2020 as stated in the data obtained by UNCTAD.

 

This proves that digital online presence plays such a pivotal role in maintaining your brand credibility. Digital platforms enable you to engage with the consumers directly without boundaries, which at the same time builds your brand awareness and allows you to reach broader prospects.

 

Without digital online platforms, most businesses might have to go back to the traditional business where it is very hard to even get one new prospect per day. Here’s my take. With so many restrictions set for us to obey, nowadays, people can rely on the internet and online digital platforms to look up for anything they want during this pandemic. This opens the opportunities for businesses to soar their businesses through online platforms to reach for more potential buyers. 

 

Can you imagine if there was no internet during this pandemic? It hinders us to know what’s going on outside while we are isolating ourselves inside our cribs. People will avoid themselves from going out prior to the high level of uncertainty and risks, which in return lead to the decrease of purchasing power. Meanwhile, businesses have to run their businesses offline and play the waiting game which may end up ruining their business.

 

This is why, online presence is very important for businesses, as Bill Gates said, “if your business is not on the internet, you will be out of business.”
